The Attack in Nice, but Love Enemies

There was an attack to a French city of Nice by ramming a heavy truck into crowds celebrating the Bastille Day, which resulted in killing lots of people. I have no idea of how I could express my message of condolences for victims, and comforts for surviving people. Confronting of this news, I gave a question to myself on 'why terrors have been explosively increasing over the past decades'.
I had a thought on it although it might be better to hear the professional analyses by experts who are specialized in religious and political affairs of Middle-East. As a Christian, it is obviously viewed to be a challenge in faith with Jesus' instruction of 'loving enemies'.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (43-48 Matthew 5)

One of the dramatic scenes in the Bible might be the moment that Jesus was arrested by servants of high priests. One of Jesus' companions cut off the servant's ear by his sword. However, the Jesus said to him.

“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?” (52-54 Matthew 26)

How beautiful the word it is! What we have to do is 'not to resolve' to get revenge on the assaulter, build more tangible or intangible walls against refugees, and to cruelly attack the attackers' headquarters. It is obvious that the best action is to 'Love Enemies'. This is also the challenge for me as well. There exists something invisible, called Satan, which lets me severely hate someone who deserves to be loved. I want to win a sequence of victories in all lifetime battles against Satan in which my sword and shield should be the Word and Prayer of life and love. I firmly believe that my Father in the Heaven would lead all of us who believe Him to the victory.
