How To Love Enemies

How can we love enemies? We can't.
Can you love anyone who killed your children? We can't love others by ourselves. Yet Jesus ordered, "Love your enemies."

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matthew 5:44-45)

Amen. I am still inwardly cursing them, but I would love my enemies with all my heart. It is not because I really love them. It is not because I became like a saint. Rather it is because my redeemed soul wants to praise Jesus's grace and glory as He loves us unconditionally and gave himself by being crucified on the Cross.
